Site redesign + Scott Pilgrim July 20, 2010
Keeping this post short. (Will try to do the same with all future ones, as well.)
Redesigned: Fresh look, new direction.
I gave my site a bit of a facelift earlier this evening. Been meaning to do that for a while now.
It’s darker, yes, but I think it’s an improvement.
In terms of subject matter, I’m going to start covering more topics tied to running online communities, specifically within the world of gaming and tech. (At least I have some street cred in those areas.)
Related content will be added – and rewritten – over the next week or so.
This is still a personal blog, of course, so it won’t be business 24/7.
Enjoying Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour (Kinda?)
Took a drive down to the Beguiling tonight to pick up a copy of Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, the final instalment of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series.
- Bad news: Getting shunted to the back of a line that looked more like a clustertruck of people than an orderly queue.
- Good news: Realizing I hadn’t read #5 yet, so the disorganized mass of chaos could bite my butt.
Thus I picked up my copy of Scott Pilgrim vs. The Universe and went on my merry way.
(Unfortunately I don’t have this awesome foil copy. It’s just the paperback. Foil would be cool, though!)
