Here’s what I’m reading this morning:

Google continues to make lots and lots of money: $6.67 billion in Q4 revenue.

Does PageRank sculpting work? Yes? No? Maybe? Scott Smigler says yes. He even provides a wall of text and some pretty graphics to support his point. Personally, though, I think that obsessing over PR is a lost cause – all that time could be better spent in other areas.

SEOmoz Whiteboard Friday: Domain Authority & Page Authority metrics. It’s a double-feature hitting on their new Open Site Explorer; how can the tool’s metrics be used, and how are the metrics determined?

The lovable Barry Schwartz has posted a roundup of Matt Cutts’ “State of the Index 2009″ presentation(s), which provide an overview of what Google has accomplished over the last year or so.
